Core todo

  • enhance navigation
    • Roundabouts detection
    • highway exits number and name should be used
    • an instruction to enter the highway could be useful
  • add more translations. (aka, find translators :) )
  • add a binding so that the gui can poll the nmea datas (sat levels, speed, etc) done.
  • The assertions should be more user friendly. example : if you have a bad satellite reception it should warn and wait instead of crashing
  • Find a replacement font for Arial, which is not open. Liberation from RedHat. need a little more work.
  • assign a higher cost to 'turn around'. it's usually safer to go a little further and take another road than to turn around

GTK gui todo :

  • Fix the bug in the country selection
  • Towns in Poland can't be searched, it makes NavIt to segfault (works in SDL) Fixed : it was caused by using the wrong smp file.

SDL gui toto:

  • We need a new skin (eubey is working on it) Mineque's skin is almost finished, Eubey's skin could be done soon.
  • Modify the transformation setup to avoid the clipping
  • When updating the roadbook in SDL, the second call in while to 'navigation_list_get' makes navit to segfault Fixed
