It would be great, if there will somebody create a actual vmware-ubuntu-image for easy compiling an apk (like the old one: Easy Method) --Efred (talk) 14:03, 10 June 2013 (CEST)

Hi EFred (OSM?) I highly recommend to use the Forum instead of the wiki talk pages: Here only a few people follow the page edits, so your request might be ignored. You can login with the wiki credentials. Please point out, why the nightly builds lack for you and on what OS you are unable to reproduce the buildchain setup --Usul (talk) 14:23, 10 June 2013 (CEST)
jepp, I'm the efred from OSM... great, that navit have a forum now - thanks for this information. I use Ubuntu 13.04 and I can't install the created Navit-debug.apk (so I can't test my changes; and also without changes (original sources, the created apk isn't installable on my devices). Really strange... The second reason, that I asks for a VM-image: in the sourceforge-discussions, there is another person, who asks for a vbox-image: is there a ReadyToUse vbox img with devtools? --Efred (talk) 13:14, 12 June 2013 (CEST)
Then welcome (once more) to Navit ;) I recommend to start two seperated topics at the forum. I'm not sure who is currently experienced with Android specific problems, but I'm optimistic that we can find a solution together with the ones at IRC. The is IMHO unmaintained and will be closed the next weeks. AFAIK we currently have no vbox image dedicated to development but one (maybe outdated) to run Navit as Virtual appliance. See you at the forums :) --Usul (talk) 13:48, 12 June 2013 (CEST)
I posted your issue at [1] --Usul (talk) 16:14, 3 July 2013 (CEST)
