Hi Korrosa!

On the Contacts Page you are marked as user and wiki overseer. This is why i chose your discussion page to make my offer for the project.

I am not a developer but in my experience in FLOSS projects I've learned that tasks like documentation translation etc are almost equally important as programming and development.

As a regular contributor to wikipedia-de, other wikis and founder of Petro-Wiki(de) I would like to offer help with the navit project wiki.

While trying out navit on my laptop and planning to use the Android-App, I realized how difficult it was to find relevant information distributed across the wiki.

In my opinion improvement in structuring and indexing this wiki is needed and I would like to use my wiki-skills to do so, while learning more about the program.

If you don't have any objections I will start with categories during the next days and move to more visible improvements later. --Krokofant 21:36, 24 February 2011 (UTC)

Deletion of spam pages

I saw that there are a lot of spam edits in this wiki. I recently reverted two edits on the main page, but most of the edits are page creations. Is there anything I could do to help delete these pages? --SlashMe 02:11, 16 October 2011 (CEST)

Hi SlashMe - thanks for that. Standard users cannot delete pages, unfortunately, but I've caught up this morning and the wiki should now be spam free again! --Korrosa 13:16, 22 October 2011 (CEST)

Ok, I still found:
I don't know whether the accounts are already blocked or not, but the user pages still exist. (two are marked for deletion by yourself) --SlashMe 13:34, 22 October 2011 (CEST)
Done, done and done - good finds! Those where marked before I became an admin, and I must have forgotten. --Korrosa 17:10, 22 October 2011 (CEST)

While I'm on it: I think there's a bug in your MediaWiki installation. The watchlist is always empty when I access it via the API.

Wikipedia had the same bug when they updated on 5th October, but on 10th October they made another update which doesn't have this bug anymore.

I'd be glad if this worked, because I wrote a tool to notify me of changes in several wikis, but it relies on the API. --SlashMe 17:41, 22 October 2011 (CEST)

Hmm, it's not my installation - I'll let cp15 know when he shows up on IRC. Thanks for letting me know! I'll also put in a recommendation to let you admin the wiki, as it looks like you know what you're doing! --Korrosa 18:11, 22 October 2011 (CEST)
